This residential design breathes a new atmosphere into the residence’s existing layout concept.The owners wanted to change the design of the previous property but did not want to change their life rhythm and daily habits, as they have lived there for over 20 years. For example, the original position and location of the main door, master bedroom, garage, and service area were adapted to the new design.The design approach created a new atmosphere and room experience by playing forms, materials, and space scales. This is to provide a new atmosphere while providing better room quality. Wide openings, and better play of natural air circulation are important elements. The marriage of existing furniture with the new design creates a poignant conversation, as these items were restored and some were rearranged into new spaces-establishing a new appearance and function according to the use of the new place.
